    Lampit in Dayak Seberuang is a handmade mat made from rattan which is splited into two part or more, then arranged and reinforced using another small rattan or a fishing rods to tie the rattan.

    In Sejiram, many people use this plant – senggang – to make tikar (a woven mat) which is used as a daily mat and also to dry paddy during the hot weather. These photographs are the fruit of senggang which can be eaten, even though its taste is sour.
